Hi, my name is Shereean and I'm the client trainer here at JD Young. And today I'm going to show you how to clean the glass on your studio 3505 ac. If you notice that you're getting lines on your copies, it's coming from one of two places. You have a document feeder here on the top of your copier and if you're running your document through this feeder, then the lines are going to be coming from this piece of glass right here which is called your slit glass. So, what you're going to want to do is you're going to take this piece of cloth, which should be lint-free and you're going to run it across the slit glass like this. If you are making your copies on this piece of glass which is called the platen glass, then you're going to want to take the lint-free cloth and you're going to clean the glass like this. Make sure that if you are using glass cleaner that you spray the cleaner directly onto the cloth because otherwise, you could risk damaging your equipment.
